President Biden honors OHSU's David Huang
Congratulations to David Huang, M.D., Ph.D., on receiving the United States' highest honor for technological achievement, the National Medal of Technology and Innovation!
“You’re literally changing the world for the better,” President Biden told Huang and other honorees. Huang was a co-inventor of optical coherence tomography, or OCT, which has transformed the way eye disease is diagnosed and managed.

OHSU Innovation Day 2024
Join us for Innovation Day, part of OHSU Research Week. The day will feature up-and-coming innovative OHSU technologies, startups and panel discussions on topics of commercialization and entrepreneurship. The majority of the day's programming will be held virtually, followed by an in-person career panel for early-career members in the afternoon.

Featured funding opportunity
Request for Applications
The Oregon Clinical & Translational Research Institute (OCTRI) in partnership with OHSU Innovates, is accepting applications for the Biomedical Innovation Program (BIP) Drug Discovery track.
Grants will be awarded on a competitive basis, with budgets not to exceed $60,000. Additionally, each awardee will be assigned a project manager and a mentor to advise and help accelerate their project towards commercialization. Projects will typically be supported for a 12-month period; predetermined milestones and quantitative metrics of success will be evaluated on a regular basis.
